Recently, Tibet Mobile innovatively applied drone technology to successfully complete the communication guarantee work for the season of Cordyceps excavation in Luomai Township of Nagchu City, which effectively solved the communication problems in extreme environments such as high altitude, long distance and complex terrain, and provided timely and reliable communication services for the excavators.
In May and June every year, Tibet ushers in the Cordyceps mining season, with a large number of local people and related practitioners flocking to the mining area. Due to the remote location, the signal coverage is not perfect, resulting in poor communication among the diggers, and there are security risks such as loss of connection. In order to solve this problem, Tibet Mobile actively innovates, and for the first time uses drones equipped with 4G portable base stations for communication coverage.
The core advantage of the drone communication guarantee technology lies in its rapid response capability and flexible deployment characteristics. In extreme environments and emergencies, the drone can be quickly dispatched to realize the rapid construction of the communication network. Through on-site testing, the download rate of users in the area exceeded 20Mbps, and the voice call and Internet experience were effectively guaranteed, providing convenient communication services for excavators and strong support for emergency rescue. At the same time, the drone communication guarantee also injected vitality into the local economic development, promoted the flow of information on cordyceps trading, and helped the local people to increase their income and get rich.
